Tracking attendance & engagement

Tracking attendance and collecting feedback is a critical part of running effective and compliant classroom training. This article walks you through the process step-by-step — ensuring your records are accurate and your training impact is measurable.

Tracking attendance

Accurate attendance records eliminate guesswork and ensure you know exactly who was trained, when, and where.

To mark attendance:

  1. Open the scheduled session from the session list on Classroom Management Page
  2. Click on the your classroom session
  3. Search or scroll to locate the participant you want to mark as attended
  4. Confirm their attendance by toggling the button to “Attended”, or you can ‘Mark all’ as attended by clicking the “Mark all” link.
  5. Repeat for all participants in the session.
  6. Click on ‘Submit attendance’ to finalize the process.

💡 Tip: You can export attendance records for compliance or audit purposes anytime.

Collecting feedback with post-training surveys

After completing the immersive safety training module and submitting attendance, trainers should use the post-training survey provided. This is a crucial step in capturing participant engagement and measuring the effectiveness of the training.

How it works:

  1. Enable the survey
Each session includes a built-in survey that matches the language of the training. Once the session ends, as long as you have submitted attendance for your classroom session you can launch the survey directly from the dashboard.

  2. Participant response
Trainees scan the QR code using their phone and complete the survey right in the room. It takes just a minute — seamless and instant.

  3. Evaluate the results
Responses are automatically fed into your session dashboard. Use these insights to:
    1. Measure knowledge retention
    2. Detect engagement gaps
    3. Improve future sessions
  4. Export the results
If needed, export survey data as a report to share with stakeholders, track progress over time, or include in training evaluations.
