Updating the Pixaera VR App

Pixaera Release Information

Pixaera release updates to the Pixaera VR app to apply fixes and deploy new training content on a monthly basis. To see what is coming out, please refer to our Changelog.

Please ensure that you download and install the update ahead of any planned training sessions.

How to update the Pixaera VR App

In order to update the app, please launch Pixaera through each one of your headsets to download and install the latest update following the instructions below.

If your headsets have auto-update enabled, the update could take place in the background if the headsets are on or off whilst connected to wi-fi, to turn this off please reference this Meta article.

  1. Please select the Library/Grid Icon

  2. Navigate to the Pixaera Application, and click the 3 dots (…) followed by ‘Update’

  3. Alternatively, if you are unable to locate Pixaera on your Application home screen, click ‘Search’ instead in the left hand pane, and type in ‘Pixaera’ to update the app, using the 3 dots.
