1. Overview
The User Management Page enables you to add users and provides a summary of user access. From this page you can generate VR pins/One Time Passcodes, deactivate, and export selected users in bulk.
This page is only accessible to users with an Admin or Manager Role.
2. Add User(s)
User(s) can be added to the Pixaera Web app in one of two ways:
1. Add Single User:
Upon clicking the ‘Add single user’ option via the ‘Add User(s)’ button, a new user form will appear, where you can enter the user’s details and the role.
‘Skip Onboarding Email’ setting:
Selecting the 'Skip Onboarding Email' option enables you to add users without sending a welcome email.
Users will be able to access their account at app.pixaera.com, but they will not receive a notification email. This facilitates an 'add users now, train later' approach.
Here is an example of a welcome email:
‘Classroom Host’ setting:
Enabling this setting will allow a user to be a classroom host, meaning they will be able to access the Classroom menu and upload sessions to the platform.
This setting is suitable for managers/facilitators/trainers only and is not relevant for trainees who will only be consuming the content on their own logins.
2. Bulk Import:
To upload multiple users, select the 'Bulk Import' option using the 'Add User(s)' button. This action will open the Bulk User Import form, where you can download the CSV form template.
The CSV template contains the following columns:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Role (this should be either ‘trainee’, ‘manager’ or ‘admin’ depending on the role the user should have)
This is what the CSV template looks like in Excel, you can delete the example info and replace it with the user information:
After you have filled in the Excel file with the users you would like to add to your account, you can upload the file into Pixaera by going to ‘Add User(s)’ and then ‘Bulk Import’
